Morgan Sindall’s construction company Bluestone is one of four contractors to have been selected by the University of Reading - one of Britain’s leading training grounds for construction management and engineering - to carry out a four-year building refurbishment and redevelopment programme across its three campuses under a framework agreement worth around £200 million.
The University of Reading is ranked as one of the UK’s 10 most research-intensive universities and as one of the top 200 universities in the world.
The construction works will range from classroom refurbishments and building alterations to new construction schemes. Each project will be worth between £500,000 and £25 million, with the majority worth £2 million to £7 million. Work begins this summer.
