Bluestone secures £7.4m St John’s Triangle scheme in Cambridge

Morgan Sindall’s construction company Bluestone has won a £7.4 million contract to refurbish part of the historic St John’s Triangle area of Cambridge. Constructed closely together and occupying one end of a remarkable section of the city centre, most of the 14 buildings are Grade II listed and all are protected by the conservation area covering the whole location.

Bluestone will refurbish and extend first-floor student accommodation in 4-7 All Saints Passage and 67–73 Bridge Street for St John’s College. The completed development will accommodate 40 students. Other new features will include the creation of a first floor podium and access to the student accommodation away from the high street.
