Lovell set for £34 million Midlands regeneration scheme

Lovell, the affordable housing business of Morgan Sindall, has been selected by Bromford Housing Group for a £34 million housing regeneration scheme in the Rea Valley area of Northfield, Birmingham.

Lovell will build 353 new homes on land at Staple Lodge Road and Wychall Road at the Wychall Farm Estate and at Harpers Road at the Turves Green Estate.

The company will build a mix of two-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom bungalows and two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses which will be for affordable rent and shared ownership through Bromford Housing Group.

The development, which is set for completion in 2010, follows extensive consultations with local residents.
