Morgan Sindall Group’s affordable housing business Lovell has signed an agreement with specialist property developer Maple Grove Developments and Craven District Council for a £40 million development programme in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
The scheme will involve the construction of over 200 homes and a significant expansion of the town’s shopping centre. Lovell will deliver the affordable housing element of the scheme, valued at £30 million. The new housing will be for open market sale, affordable rent and shared ownership.
“Lovell continues to make progress developing its market-leading position in the affordable housing arena with this latest deal, one of a number we have already secured this year,” says Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall Group plc. “We look forward to working with Maple Grove and Craven District Council to deliver the development.”
