A team from McGinley's support services, with materials and tools provided by Speedy Hire, Travis Perkins and Network Rail, worked tirelessly for three days to weed overgrown beds. The team then lay down stoning, transforming the previous overgrown beds into a further play area. Other valuable work carried out included improvements to the schools access routes, creating seating in the 'wooded classroom' and giving a much needed refurbishment to the playground fencing.
Morgan Sindall are constantly striving to have a positive and lasting impact on the local communities in which it operates in, and the Llangynidr primary school project is a prime example of this.
Headmaster of Llangynidr Primary School, Andrew Brasington said, "We are delighted with the new-look areas and fencing, and thank all of those involved for their hard work and generosity".
