Overbury awarded triple Bronze in Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards

Overbury's Southern, Central and Major Projects offices are celebrating after each picked up Bronze in the 2013 Considerate Constructors Scheme awards.

Overbury Southern was recognised for its work on the multi million pound refurbishment of One London Square for IM Properties in Guildford, Overbury Central for its work on the transformation of Rare Games' Leicestershire offices, and Overbury Major Projects for Phase 1 of the refurbishment of PwC's London office at Embankment Place. All were awarded Bronze by the Considerate Constructors Scheme's annual National Site Awards.

Upon collecting the bronze award on behalf of Overbury Central, managing director Julian Lebray said: "Rare was a really exciting project for Overbury as it allowed us to use our imagination with the designs and furniture. Rare embraced our non-traditional ideas, including breakout spaces and window vinyl that can be written on like a blackboard, which will help to create an inspiring and creative working environment. To win a Considerate Constructors award for our work with the company is something we are very proud of."

The Considerate Constructors Scheme's National Site Awards 2013 took place between the 15th April and the 3rd May, with 11 ceremonies taking place in Edinburgh, Manchester and London. The Awards recognise sites' exceptional standards of consideration towards local neighbourhoods and the general public, the workforce and the environment.
